Samantha, tell us about your book?

My book focuses on the four major transitions in life, I have experienced as a woman. I use my unique storytelling abilities to show how God taught me to embrace my life, how God inspired me to move forward, and how he transformed me through these experiences to make me whole.  The four seasons of winter, spring, summer and autumn are used to cause reflection and correlation with my four life experiences of Motherhood, Singlehood, and relationship with Christ, and Marriage.

How did you come up with idea for this book?

This idea was developed from a single sentence from the Lord. One day while driving along the highway through the mountains of Georgia, God spoke to me. He said, “See those leaves changing that is how the seasons of your life change.” I looked and he began to tell me how as the earth transitions through seasons, my journey in life has done the same. This conversation led to the birthing of this book.

What was the most difficult aspect of writing this book?

The most difficult aspect of writing this book was writing ha! And not using too many words. Trying to keep it short and sweet, and determining how to talk about my life without talking about my life. The most difficult aspect was also trying to keep the perspective simple so, those who don’t know Christ can find him.

Why do you write?

I believe I am a Prophetic writer with a pen. I write to share God’s heart he shared with me through my experiences, and His word. I write to inspire and cause transformation to occur in one woman at a time.

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?

I want readers to learn that the things we see every day around us in our world is constantly reminding us there is a new season coming. I want them to take away from this God’s perspective on their seasons and his promises along the journey. The devotional and prayers are here to help you transform and heal your life.
